I just got a 2007 gsxr 600 and it seems like when I slow down to make a stop from 2nd to 1st just goes right into neutral. There is only 4700 miles on it. Also, when I am in 3rd gear cruising at a comfortable speed, the display will show 4th gear then jump back to 3rd. What's going on here? Do I need to be worried?

The 2010 riding season kicked off with a bang this weekend. We had 2 successful rides. Although I did not ride myself this weekend, from all reports it was a blast.

I did manage to capture these shots of the Sunday ride as it climbed Lucky Peak. Small turnout but hopefully we will get more as the season progresses.

Masters of the Mountain Race weekend 1 - East Course in Tooele,Utah

My first race was in the Novice GTU (600cc and smaller for inline 4s). I started in 12th position and had a not so good start. I dropped back a few positions before turn 1. Once I finally got around the green Kawasaki (#716), I made my way back to 11th position. On lap 6 I missed a shift between Tooele and Clubhouse corner. Richard (746) passed me on the outside.
