I think it is a 4 bolt pattern, I'll have to check when I get home. Even if it fits, would it mess with the A/F mix, being designed for 04-05 bikes?

| well, any time you change your exhaust it's going to mess with the mix. but, unless you are putting on a full system and racing, most people don't worry about it. it's not going to make a "huge" difference. it will be subtle. mainly what you'd probably notice is some popping on decel but, to me that's kind of cool anyways.

Linker, I believe the bolt pattern matches but the mid pipe size is different which would make this pipe not work on yours. I think.

Brian says it will fit. The 01-03 have the same bolt pattern and pipe diameter as the 04-05 on the GSXR 600. He said the can he shortened on his old 01 was from an 04. He also stated that the ECU was able to compensate for the shortened can with no popping and no flat spots on the curve. The only thing that changed was the sound.

Maric: Sorry to stomp on your FS thread...but I have the same pipe (carbon fiber). Does your have the baffle in it? (if you took yours out - - is there an easier way to remove it other than busting the thing apart and taking the spot welder to it?)

| Yes as Bailey suggested the one I am selling is brand spanking new. However, I took apart the old one and shortened it up. I'm not quite sure what you are referring to when you say "baffle". This is a "bolt on" can. It fits right up to the stock exhaust pipe bolts. There is an inner core which is perforated and some fiberglass insulation wrapped around it but there is no "baffle" just a inner pipe with perf holes. What is it exactly that you want to know? I'm thinking that maybe you have a "slip on" which has a baffle in it and you are wondering how to take it out? If your's is exactly like mine, there is no baffle in there.
