Helmet-Cam

So I have a wild hair to get a helmet-cam (or some form of camera). I don't want anything that requires a bunch of engineering and mods to my bike. Something easy on/off with no fuss.

I'm too cheap to buy the uber cool cams that are upwards of 600.00

What do you have?
Why do you love it?
Gimme the details!

I Ride: 2007 CBR1000RR

A buddy of mine purchased the ContourHD cam earlier this year. At $280 its not bad for being HD. It is just a slider button record so it's very easy. I was quite impressed with it.
This video was recorded using it. The unsteadiness is caused by the mounting location; not the camera. I'll get some video while using it as a helmet cam shortly.

Here is the webpage

Here is where you'd buy..

I have a brand new, never previously used Helmet cam from www.Helmetcamera.com I have the hard case, ballistic mount, and 4 lenses including the wide angle lens. It is sitting here unused and yours for $200.00 (about half what I paid for it). I have used this same setup for trackdays, dirtbike rides, skydives, and snowboarding. My first one got lost and I've never broken out this new one.

Hoard: Can you tell me where he has the cam. mounted? I agree that it's bouncy as hell....but a great way to check your form.

It's me in the vid so I can definitely tell you how it was mounted
When my buddy bought the cam; it came with the helmet mount and he purchased the windshield mount as well.
The helmet mount is actually held on with some super sticky tape and we couldn't just transfer it from one helmet to another so instead; I used the window mount on the bike.
Near the rear it was quite bumpy but when I'd mount it up closer to the front it was actually quite fine. Didn't have ANY bumpy issues when mounted to the helmet.

If you want easy on/off, and decent quality, go with the Go Pro.
