2004 R6 Low Miles!

2004 Yamaha R6 with a little less than 6500 miles. This bike is in amazing condition. All regular maintenance has been done, and has been kept inside. This bike has extras which include:
-Flush front blinkers
-Frame sliders
-Blue iridium wind screen
-Under tail eliminator
-UV cover
-Also, comes with front and rear stands

Included will be all stock parts I have (front blinkers, windscreen, extra set of levers)

I love this bike so much, but I am selling it because I just haven't got the time to ride it anymore.

I am asking $4500

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions! [email protected]

I don't know, I'd buy the Yamahammer if it had inverted forks, and a brembo master on it. I wouldn't pay more than $3K for it, but would totally rock it.

Hey, I own a Yammie and it is a nice looking bike. Of course the first thing I did was change the exhaust and lighting on the bike.

Sounds good to me. We'll have to ditch that horrendous can and fast though. The garbage man may mistake it for a dumpster.

Not sure anyone has an opinion on the bike other than the fancy blue wind screen. I'd love to have it for my bike; matches my nails *snort*

Just soemthing to look out for - if the guy can't get his prices right - he's probably a weiner.

If you read the fine print on the websites they explain the discrepency. NADA gives you the fair market value of "just" the vehicle. Kelly Blue Book is what you could expect to pay at a "dealership" for the vehicle, which is why the "value" is higher as the dealer has overhead costs associated with the vehicle.

Not a bad bike but I think he is a little high on the price for what he has. But there in lies the beauty, that is his "asking" price which you can counter with your own offer thats closer to what you want to pay.

nice bike, few dings on muffler, ding from dads muffler on the side of the bike^^, blue wind shield looks ehhh, is eBay bought. It also doesn't fit well on the bike. back tire is horrible, front has half a season if that.

overall it was pretty clean

offered $3700

he wouldn't go below $4000

what do you guys think?

No deal look on cl there are several r6's for around 3000 you might have to drive a few hours but to me it would be well worth the savings of 1000. just my 2.

Give him about a week then call him up and ask if he's ready to come down yet. And keep your eye out, I've seen a few R6's going for $3700-$4000 that are in better shape.

If I see any I'll shoot you a PM to give you a heads up.

I'll kep an eye out for you. Are you partial to driving for it like Brandon said?? You can find really good deals sometimes out of town a ways like Idaho Falls or Pocatello. But just make sure you add in the cost to drive there, like don't save 300 bucks to buy the same bike as you'll probably eat at least half that in gas and food going to get it as well as lose a day driving. But thats just my

Ummm I've talked to a guy on the CBRForums who has 177k miles on his F4i. As for those, none of them had too many miles to worry me, My bike has 22k miles and rape the ever living shyt out of her and she still just screams for more. Bikes with decent maintenance can go a lot longer than people think, I know when I bought my bike I was all worried about mileage but after riding and seeing other riders I realized it isn't as important as I thought.

Hell just look at Bailey's bike also(Blizzanthimum...or something like that) His Gixxer has over 30k miles and MULTIPLE track days and it still runs like a champ.

I just looked at that 900rr again a little more closely and From my personal opinion, I'd buy that sexy beast in a heartbeat. But then again the 900 rr is what first got me wanting a sportbike back in the day.
