Its a Fender, thats broken.. anyone else have broken fenders of the frontal area?

Not very likely to be the set valve, they are either on or off, not intermitent. Highly likely that it is the secondary butterfly in the throttle bodies, the 600's are famous for these hanging up and intermittently turning on the FI light.
