I Ride: 2000 SV 650 | 01 SV-650 Carb rebuild / sync
Hey all, been a while since I've been on here, getting home from iraq and getting settled back in with the fam and the job have kept me running! As some of you may remember, my SV has been running a little sketchy - and from my google / svriders.net research it seems that my carbs are out of sync / probably need to be rebuilt. Its a little out of my comfort zone right now so I'm looking for some advice on a good mechanic to help me out! Thanks, Badger I forgot fuelcell started a thread about this a while back: SV650 backfires at idle Last edited by badger32d; 02-08-2012 at 09:37 AM. |

I Ride: Lets leave it at that. |
Call Dennis at Cyclone Cycles, he's been about the best price for carb syncs and he has great customer service.

Or, if someone out there has the tools / know how and wouldn't mind holding my hand in exchange for some beer - I'd love to learn how to do it myself. |

I can help with it if you buy the $30 Motion Pro carb sync tool... Pretty easy. Email me if interested. Could also be tight exhaust valves, but carb sync is more likely. James Thedeatons@gmail.com |
