I ran into Dennis Law from Firebird at the mall yesterday. He wanted to be sure the bike class knew Firebird would be enforcing the NHRA requirement for metal valve stems on 11.99 and quicker. I know this isnt the first youve heard about this but I do know there was some talk about whether or not Firebird would actually enforce it or let it slide. From what Dennis was saying the track officials are pretty fired up about it . So save yourself some hassel and change your stems before opening day.IMO...stupid rule! Among others out there. |

Is that just a bike rule or any vehicle running 11.99 or faster? I was kinda wondering if they would enforcing it or not.... Ive got mine changed over already! |

From what I have ben told it has ben a rule for several years. It was originally written for cars, but doesn't exclude motorcycles or say it is specifically for cars. I havn't looked at the exact wording or rule myself. It has never really ben enforced on motorcycles and was starting to be mentioned at the end of last year at some d6 races. so at this years d6 tech inspectors meeting they mentioned it and said it is to be inforced this year. |

Dennis at Cyclone Cycles has several sets, in both sizes for anyone that needs them. I told him that firebird was requiring them this year so he ordered a bunch. He can get them in several colors also. | |

Dennis at cyclone has them for like $10 or $9 something. I just have the 1 extra since you have to buy them in pairs. I already bought 4 pairs lol.
