It was not hit. It bent because my axle slid.

Well I heard back from Gilles.

This is what I sent:

Do these have a warranty? I found this while I was trying to adjust my chain. The axle was torqued to OEM specs.


michael drautzburg responded with:

didn't you use the OEM adjusting screw? Can you send a picture from the side?

But anyway, we stopped that chain adjuster due to the fact that many customers didn't followed the instruction to use the OEM adjusting screw. For safety reason!


I responded:

The instruction I received did not say to use the OEM adjuster. The kit I received included a screw and the instruction told me to replace the OEM adjuster with the provided screw.


This is what I got back:

We've sent an updated manual to all our direct customers and to the dealers. I'm sorry for the trouble but it's now out of warranty range...
