Need an ignition

My buddy's house burned down last night. Everyone made it out ok. BUT his motorcycle key was lost in the fire.along with almost all his belongings. I think it's an older Ninja. any one know what to do to fix this problem?

Some locksmith's are able to make a key from the tumbler set. You have to make some calls and most likely trailer the bike to them. Other then that. Replace the entire switch with a new one.

take the ignition out and bring it to a locksmith. Minuteman in Meridian is ~$35 if you bring them the ignition.

I Ride: with dubious judgement, but niceness

Or....remove the helmet lock, if it is easier, and take that in. (if it used the same key)

Since most bikes have 1key for everything, the trunk lock or gas cap might be easier to take off. Unless its a different key.
