Bike stand workbench

I found this on another forum, but it makes a quick cheap stand for working on bikes, that can come apart without any tools. No more sitting on the floor

That's awesome! If you decide to make one let me know, we can buy 2 of everything and make them together.

Re: Bike stand workbench

Will be making it this weekend. Slight modifications though for my own personal peace of mind for safety.

Re: Bike stand workbench

I just finally saw this post. Hasn't anyone noticed the stand that I use? 2x4 frame with plywood on top. Yes, you have to use a ramp to get the bike up on it, but Andrew will attest to the fact that it will hold a bike and two people standing on it to pull carbs. The plus side of using a 2x4 frame is that I have enough room under the stand for all the bike plastics.

The storag idea is nice, but this one breaks apart for storage when not in use.

I didn't have a chance to get to this, forgot actually. Was too busy keeping peace at home and playing in the dirt. FYI, I did not get near as many honey do's done as I should have. OOPC's

Re: Bike stand workbench

all i needed was the top surface area dimensions 2'x8', guess i should have been more specific.

i intend to build the thing out of steel, yet still can break down.

Re: Bike stand workbench

Im game dude I think we should do it 2.5 x 8 and leve the center open for draining the oil that way we can leave a storage area under . also with tie downs on each side.
