Paint stripping

What would be the best way at stripping paint? I just have the front fender, tank and rear section to do so it shouldn't take long either way. I just need to rough it all up so that the Rhino-line will stick. But I was also thinking about painting, either way I need to strip the existing off.

Anyone know an easy way to do it? I sense it with be a PITA.

The only way to do it really is just sand it down. If you are just scuffing it up go get some 220 grit and a six pack. You'll be done in a few hours. There's no other real option.

Damn! Was hoping there was some awesome lacquer thinner out there or something. Haha. Well thanks though! Guess I'll just grab some sand paper from work and maybe a sander. I do work in a rental company. >.>

Most paint stores have stripper that takes it off to the bare metal I think you just have to let it sit for an hour then just scrape it off. If you do that be aware if there were any inperfections in the metal that the factory had to fix you will have to do the same thing.

Word...

Thanks guys. Went searching around for colors and such and it will be wayyy more expensive and more work to paint than rhino line. So I'll be going with rhino line. All I have to do for that is rough up the surface.
