so im working on repairing and wetsanding my plastics to get it ready for paint. does anybody know of a good body work painter in the treasure valley who hopefully has a reasonable price. im thinking going kawi green with the bike just cause if i cant have the bike i really want ill just make it resemble it haha. and back marker has my bike to see if he cant get it up and running, starting to think that my clutch is bad. me and Back of the pack tried to push start it just to see if we couldnt get it to fire and id did alittle bit but it wasnt strong enough and it was super hard for him to push in gear and when its in first and you hit the starter it lugs forward. even with the clutch pulled in. so thats really weird. so im thinking my clutch is shot. but if the bike is in neutral its fine. but if you pull in the clutch you can shift gears fine but as soon as you try to start it the bikes lurches forward. so im out of ideas. with my luck as of late its got a bunch of things wrong with it and its gunna be turbo to the max's new part bike.

I know that there are several members that paint (myself included, but I suck so far) that might be willing to paint for you if you have everything prepped. I love Kawi Green, but couldn't bring myself to splash it on one of my Honda's. |

Yes, sanding and prepping is the most important part of painting...and it sucks! Good to hear that the bike is running. What was the issue with it? I am assuming that Backmarker got it running? |
