Rollastand Opinion

So I can't afford a Rear stand right now and I'm tired of borrowing from Nikki but I really want to clean my chain and wheels and rolling the bike around to get to the different parts of the chain or wheels is annoying. (Yeah I said that all in one sentence. Screw you Chris.)

What is your opinion of this http://www.hardlineproducts.com/prod...ollastand.html

For the price it hardly seems cheaper than a stand, and I don't understand how you keep the bike from falling over (despite their directions).

Do your pegs fold up? If not, you could throw some jack stands under them. I've also seen guys run a steel bar through the swingarm pivot and put jack stands under that.

Hey Paul

Stand
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=99701

Wheel Cleaning stand
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=98800

I can hear the shi!t talking already but im not a fan of paying 3X what an product is worth. Both those are pretty much failsafe. The stand is lifting and holding what, 200lbs max? And the cleaning stand... Cant fathom what a more expensive version could possibly offer... Oooouu wait. Maybe it has race bearings so you can spin the wheel SUPER fast.

Ya I would worry about the bike staying up, and I would also worry about the bearings on that thing. I say just check craigslist everyday and keep an eye out for an actual rear stand!

I got the exact stand. I got the paddle one for the front them got the adapter for the forks. With 2 stands spools and adapters I am only out $109 and that is with shipping. The low pro stand construction is very sound. I might get a better front one in the future as this one is really wide. What can I say Iam a cheap bastard.

Sorry if I had read your post better I would have seen that you got that one. Thanks. I'll be stopping at the local store tonight and hopefully they'll have it.

Well it has been two weeks since I have been in but the people that work there are morons. Dont ask for it just find it yourself, could take a while because the store is not that organized.

I went and picked up the paddle one. They had the spool one but I wanted the ability to lift both the front and back so for now I have just that one. 52 for the stand and front fork adapters. Thanks for your help everyone.
