Dual Headlight Conversion???

My 05 zx6r has the original set up for the headlights witch i think its dumb, one side is a low beam and the other a high beam, alot of ppl modify them so that both run at the same time as low, anyone here done something like this? or know of someone that could do this?

But also remember that on the side that is the brights, the way the bulb is angled in the housing is slighty different for it to be a bright. Also the reflective coatings inside might be different from side to side. I am not sure if Kawis are different on this part. But something to search and make sure you want to go that route.

Good work
If you ask questions like this on any of the national forums without thoroughly searching for a thread pertaining to your question you first wont get an answer and when the jackholes come along they will just flame you and you still wont get your answer.

FYI

last I checked, this isn't any of those forums.... doing research is one thing, but a question was asked. I understand what you mean, I have seen it out there, but we got others to flame on lol.

Thanks for checking Don. Not really necessary since I didnt say that BRN is a national forum. I was nicely trying to say if you wanna know how to do something that is specific to a manufacture you should look where the information is abundant. What are there 1 or 2 other 636s on here?
Since your feeling so much like protecting and nurturing people from reality I was wondering what kind of tires to get and what kind of oil should I get? Can anyone help me with that? I wasnt sure where I can find that info.....

Research it, check with your manufacturer....

LOL - I use Castrol from Cycle Queer for the street, but Honda Oil for the dirt. As for tires, I only use Metzlers and don't have much exp with other brands for street. Dirt Maxxis is what I have, IT's but next I am using Desert IT's.

LOL! For some it's real easy and can be fun to be mad at me. Hell I get mad at me just cause.

As for headlight conv. I was really wanting to do this too, but I am thinking of having both sides low beam, and both sides hi-beam.... Gonna go do some research now....No sense asking anyone...

yeah the single light is where its at.
people that are ignorant enough to think you have a light out, don't know jack squat about bikes. i just laugh and go along with my business, mostly if the squid that say it is on a katana (or insert any inexpensive wannabe sportbike here).

again too each his own, but dual lights are fuckin' 90's. that shit is out like clout. single side lights are the new style. dual lights look like late 1990 to early 2000 kawi's and yamahammers... may have been cool back in 98, but hey, mullets used to be cool too.
