Update

OK I know crappy cell phone pics but you get the idea. It's finally coming together. I have new flaring screws on order mine are a huge cluster f%$k

I get to ride it for a week or so then have to send it back in to get the wheels powder coated. The white wheels look really bad.

I would eventually like to order a new exhaust and covers for the stator and clutch cover they are all scratched, but that will have to wait for the lottery to pick my numbers

Now that shes all back together you can take her to the free trackday at the end of September. You and Jeran can take turns ripping up Miller on that shinny R Sizzle.

Maybe after I get some more practice in only had her since April of this year. And what makes you think Jeran will be allowed to ride her I was kind enough to let him paint her J/K

It was in referance to the fact that the bike is as old as the dinasours aka the still caurbed era lol It looks like a new bike though great job and awsome color. cant wait to see the new wheels

Your bike looks GREAT! Saw it this morning when I dropped off my new tires to be mounted. Scooterholic did a fantastic job of painting it. That color is awesome in the sunlight by the way.

Have you considered getting one of these kits?

http://www.thetankslapper.com/buy/to...on/yamaha.html

I would hate to see your new paint covered in rock chips like mine! I regret not putting film on my bike when I brought it home from the dealership.

Nope, You'll find something else soon enough Even if it's something as small as levers, bar ends, or even something as simple as a screw set, as long as you own her you will always find one more thing that you would really like to put on her or do to her to make her prettier or perform better

I didn't realize that they had kits like that but definitely something to look in to. I was going to get just a regular tank guard.
Thanks for the link.

I'm going with shiny black it will match some of the other parts Scooterholic painted on the bike. I think the same color would be TOO much
I have enough paint to do some touch ups but I can get more paint .....it's good to be married to the painter

Besides getting the bike running right I bet the bill was reasonable for the amount of work they did.
