Thanks CBRF2Old and steven32, I'm loving the new wheel color more and more. Now I just have to save for those other little things to finish it off, but the most important thing of all

IT RUNS GREAT NOW thanks to Lee at Cyclone Cycles

Scooterholic finished painting my mirrors for me. I just need to find some spacers so I can mount them or some rubber that I can cut to fit. Now to fix the front flaring it has a couple dimples where the windshield screws sunk in. Then I'm ready for good weather

Sounds like it is time to bust out some sand paper and elbow grease to polish then.

woo hoo I just talked to scooterholic and next winter I'm going to polish my frame. I think it would just finish the look (along with a few other things) bad news he just told me what it takes to do it but if next winter is like this winter it will be long and crappy weather so it should keep me out of trouble LOL

I was thinking to myself "she should have powdercoated that frame while the bike was apart". Dont get me wrong Jeran has pulled a 10/10 in my book on that R6. Just looking at it it needs to be relieved of its silver.. Chrome, metal, aluminum... ALL of it powdercoated black.
When got my R1 the rearsets stuckout like a sore thumb. I love the black ones.
The bike looks amazing it would be an 11/10 with a powdercoated frame/swingarm.

Sergie... We need your help brother. Can we use your PhotoShop expertise? Will you find a side pic of the R6 that you deem worthy for this demonstration. Make a rendering of it with a polished/chromed frame and swingarm and a separate rendering of it with the frame/swingarm powdercoated black. That would be much appreciated

I plan on eventually replacing the rearsets, brake and clutch levers with black. I thought about having the frame powdercoated when it was apart but it all came down to $$$$$, but it's something to consider in the future

Heck yeah if someone with ninja skills with photoshop has the time I'd love to see it all tricked out with black acents

I totally agree with you on the black.

I kinda feel like I was being disrespectful by suggesting that you paint your bike a certain way and I basically started a poll on someone elses bike. Im sorry for that and dont mean any disrespect. The bike looks great and you should be very proud of it. My suggestions were for when you decided to move forward and either powdercoat or chrome those parts which direction I think you should go. I hope thats what I conveyed and not that I think your bikeis inferior in any way. I know you both have worked very hard on the bikes and they look great.
I dont want one of you guys coming one street over and keying my car. LOL Gotta stay on good terms with my neighbors. Dont want to offend anyone that can retaliate in 5 min or less! LOL

No offence taken, it's a great idea. You weren't being disrespectful just voicing your opinion and there's nothing wrong with that. By the way keying is so last week I'll just come over in the middle of the night, take your car completely apart and leave the parts in your yard. J/K
