I did a 400 mile ride last week on my GSX-R. It kicked my ass! I'm still getting used to the position of the bike. It was fun though. ![]()

You can see the pics here http://forums.boiseriders.net/index.php?topic=4.75 It is silver and black. 650 miles and just broken in the engine. But I really like red and black too. As a matter of fact, I am going to add red here and there. Your pad on your back seat cowl is really cool. I can't really tell but you probably have one on your tank also. If that one is as cool as the seat cowl, I would like to get a set for mine also. Can you tell me where you got that? Let me know if you want to ride around (Shorter thatn 400 miles if possible). I live around Eagle &McMillan. |

![]() I order all my stuff for my GSX-R from here: http://www.oneidasuzuki.com You may be interested in this: http://www.oneidasuzuki.com/store/cu...cat=265&page=2 And This: http://www.oneidasuzuki.com/store/cu...cat=265&page=2 There are some other cool product on gixxer.com as well. The Oneida site is way way cheaper than the Suzuki site or Carl's but I do buy my oil from Carl's but that's about it. Filters are half the price on Oneida and they are fast too. -r

Hello guys. First superbike 1978 Yamaha sx1100 Got new, next 1979 1100 special had for 14 years. Roads and some drags. daily rider for 10 of the years in southern CA. Battle trainned in city driving. Now 05 Hayabusa and newest toy gsxr1k..06 Met a few of you on one loaman loop. Mostly into drag racing and weekend shorter runs. Not into street riding. Thats why God make the X5. When my son Eric is in town he rides the red gsxr1k. The last street bike races at Firebird, his first time at the drages, ge got his 130MPH club stickers. He did a 10.7 at 136mph shifting early because the bike wasn't broke in and I told him to take it easy. Ya right. Drive safe and hope to be meeting more of you Mark |

Greetings! Karl 1991 CBR600F2 1984 Honda VT500 Ascot Been riding since I was about 12 (Honda Trail 90). Did some dirt bikes (favorite was a Husky 360WR). Bought the Ascot new in 85 and did minimal riding on it. Bought the CBR in 01 and have done some long rides on it including 1700 miles round trip to 05 MotoGP Have not ridden much in this area other than one trip to Bogus and commuting to work on the CBR (gotta love the gas mileage of something fun to ride! ) |

Wow, talk about old thread rivival... a) Brian b) 01 GSXR 600 c) 30+ years of mixed dirt and street* d) Lowman Loop from the HSB, GV, L, IC direction. *Started out with dirtbikes as a kid, rode standards on the street most of my adult life, only in the last two years did I ride sportbikes, now I am thinking of getting a cruiser to go along with the sport riding. a. Keri b. 2007 YZF600R c. almost a full year (feb of last year was my stars class - never been the "pilot" of a bike prior to that) d. I don't have a favorite location - but my fave type or ride is with lots of great people that are respectful of other's riding pace/skill levels, who are willing to share their experiences and information with others. Lots of laughter and of course - a bite to eat at some point! I do look forward to my ride up the Lochsa w/ fly rod in hand! I've been up that way many times in a car...I expect that to be my new fave. ride. |

a) Jason b) '05 SV650S Blue c) About 20 years riding both dirt and street. d) I like to get at least 150 mile days in and try to get as many turns in as possible. I like to try new roads and I will 300 miles for a piece of pie as long as there are nice roads along the way. My other love is cycling but this year it will be limited by my health so my motorcycle is going to get a lot of miles. I am planning a multi-day, twisty heavy, Oregon trip this year in late June or July. I am looking forward to the '09 riding year.

Knee down on a Ninja 250? That's perdy cool in my book Joel. I'd rather be fast on a slow bike than slow on a fast bike. Not saying I'm fast or anything. lol |
