Hozhead

As mentioned at the BBQ last month, its time for a contest on the forum and so here it is, the [size=3]SHOW US YOUR PIPE[/size] contest.

RULES & GUIDELINES
We're looking for creative and/or amusing pictures featuring your motorcycle exhaust.

1) The contest runs from August 1st to August 31st
- Pictures may be submitted between August 1st and August 23rd.
- Judging/Voting will take place between August 24th and August 31st.

2) The winner receives a $25 Gift Card to Cycle Gear.

3) Members will be limited to TWO final submissions to be voted on.
a. You may remove an earlier submission and add a new one until midnight on August 23rd.
b. If you have added more than two photos to the thread, the LAST TWO posted in the thread will be used.

4) The pictures MUST feature a motorcycle exhaust.

5) The exhaust may be either on or off of the bike.

6) The picture can be funny, serious or artistic in nature; forum members will be judging the contest so plan for your audience.

7) The photo may NOT be altered using an application such as Photoshop, Picasa, etc. Basic adjustments to light levels, contrast, etc are permitted in order to improve the quality of a photo.

8) Must be safe for viewing at work or with kids around (and not just The Todd's son).
a. Nudity in a photo submission will result in you being disqualified from the contest.

9) The photo must be YOURS and cannot be something you simply found on the internet or in a magazine.
a. Submitting a 'stolen' photo will result in you being disqualified from the contest after ONE warning.
b. The warning assumes you were too lazy/dumb to read this rule.
c. If anyone recognizes a 'stolen' photo, please point it out to CBRF2Old, Tanman or Hozhead so that we can check it.

10) The photo must not provide evidence of or encourage the destruction of public property.
a. example: pictures of a speed limit sign being smashed using an exhaust can are not allowed.

11) Members will vote on the best pictures via a forum poll.
a. we'll use voting rounds if necessary to accommodate a large number of submissions.
b. CBRF2Old, Tanman or Hozhead will create the voting polls.

12) There is to be NO POST WHORING in this thread because we want to keep the photos grouped together as much as possible.
a. There will be a separate thread for asking questions or talking about the photos in an attempt to keep this one on topic.

I don't know if Hoz, Tanman and I agreed on whether we should be allowed to enter because someone might think it was rigged, but thought I would throw one out to get started.

Okay, I'm sure this will come much to Karl's dismay but, since there's only ONE photo submitted we're going to need to postpone this contest. This may be something to do in the winter when we're all bored from a lack of riding and feel like taking our exhaust cans off and strapping them to a sled or tube.
