Mountain Home Air Force Base motorcycle riders

Hello everyone. I saw a Google advertisement and clicked it and here I am. Glad to find this place. I see a lot of motorcycle riders here on the Air Force Base, post up if you ride on or to/from Mountain Home Air Force Base?

How long have you been stationed here? What's your MOS?

You should answer those questions yourself, and maybe tell us a little bit about you like how long have you been riding, bike, etc

I was doing refueling but now I'm just pushing paperwork now, not as active but its nice being inside during the days. I say that until the summer time comes than I would rather be outside riding. I ride a 2004 Gixxer 1k, havent done much to it - just pipe, brakes, and redid the front forks last summer.

What do you ride stubby?

I used to be stationed in good ol' mt home. I was AMMO....I know I know..... I never really had a lot of luck getting together with many guys that have bikes in Mt home......they rarely ever wanted to go ride and when they did, they only went on boring roads and were doing 160. You should call this guy......208 571 0173 (Mark) or get on myspace and look up GBCreations. He is a bike mechanic (originally from England) He's a club racer and a really nice guy. He also works at the bike shop in mt home. he's fun to ride with.....busy......(new baby and starting his business)......but fun to ride with. Welcome.

I did a BRC last Thursday and Friday (2nd,3rd). I have an ERC this comming friday (10th).

They keep me busy. Our MSF range is in the big lot with all the airplanes on display. Go run your bike on it when ever you can. Its a good place to practice.

Rocket,

I would like to get a small group of base riders together and start riding with the groups from this forum. Last summer I rode with some of the guys and girls from Boise and enjoyed every bit of it.

I have been stationed at MH since late summer 2007. I live in town. I just came back from Afghanistan and I'm ready to ride. I have a black and yellow CBR929RR, I don't ride my bike to work, it's just a weekend toy.

I live in Mountain Home and work AMMO on the base. When it warms up I will be riding to work everyday.

There are a few of us that ride together usually we meet up and ride up to boise for a group ride or something, after it warms up a bit I would like to make it up to the Pine Featherville area.

I ride an all white CBR600 if you ever want to ride call/text 208-590-4824

OK I see this Bike Night thing is trying to come up. Is there a way we can all get together after the EXERCISE and get everyone we know on base out for a ride? The temp dropped but Let's see if we can get a lot of people from Mountain Home for a group ride. If we can make it before May 1st cause I'll be TDY so next to weekends. I'm thinking the 17th or 18th. There is a track day on 25th people might goto I think. Anyone interested? Doesn't have to be a group ride.

Bike Night is on the 25th, along with a BBQ at Lazy's after bike night. Last year there were several of us that would do a group ride and then head to bike night then to the BBQ. It doesn't look like too many people are doing the track day in April.

There is a track day on the 25th as well, but just like the one for this Saturday, not too many people are interested.

I was thinking of having one when it warms up a little my house is kinda small on the inside so it would have to be warm enough to hang out outside.

I have a pretty big place even have some extra room if you got drunk and had too crash!!!! This SATURDAY night Lets get it on like donkey kong that would be awesome to have 15 to 20 bikes outside the house because the woman across the street has already complained about my car and bike noise and I looked at her and said uhhhhh ok sorry bout ur luck lol!

I even have a garage we could beer pong it if someone has a table?
