Thumbs up Buell 1125r clearance!!

We just marked down our 2008 Buell 1125R's to $7995!!! (plus freight & set-up). MSRP $12,499 (plus freight & set-up). I'm no math major, but that is a lot of cash to be saved

Stop by & check them out--
or you can call and set up a test ride (208) 338-5599
(I'm assuming everyone has the right endorsements to do so)

Safe & happy riding--have an awesome weekend!

Woof. That's a pretty good deal. At the risk of sounding like a shill:

If you've been wanting an 1125...now's the time.

Thats a hell of a deal, considering the performance you get. Personally, I can't get past the mutant looks of the 1125R, yet I find the 1125CR to be cool as hell. What's wrong with me anyway?

Guys that are more concerned with performance than looks say these work pretty well out-of-the-box on the track. I'd be tempted, except for the rumored reliability problems with the engine.

Hey! Don't you own a Ducati? Us Duc owners have a high tolerance for reliability issues.

It just occured to me that I could buy the 1125R and slap a 1125CR fairing on it... and Viola'!!
This deal is getting better all the time!

I don't think we have any qualified people here to answer this question

Might have to go take one for a test drive though.

I Ride: Buell Firebolt XB12R

According to CMS1172 who has read quite a bit about these particular models they found the issue on the 08' and cleared it up. I don't remember what the exact issue was. I think it was a plastic piece somewhere in the oil pump or something that broke apart and clogged up some oil ports but don't quote me on that. I don't have the time to research it right this second.

Who's to say the 1125r is a typical Buell? Just out of curiosity, was it an experience with the company overall that made you switch or the fact that nothing like the 1125r was out on the market?

Since he did a track day on the 1125r, he probably knows pretty well what it's about.

True. Jeremy, from your point of view having time on the different styles what are some pro's and con's you consider when comparing the Buell to other brands bikes? The reason I ask is because I've considered transitioning from the XB12R to the 1125R.

For that price i might be interested in moving to the bit R, I do know that the problem lied for the most part in the translation for the English Engineering maps to the Rotax factory, they basically programmed them wrong which was causing all sorts of problems. The problem is fixed. They would have full unlimited mileage warranty too. Problem for me is that my bike now has too many miles and they wouldn't give me enough to pay it off.

NO. That's an 1125 issue.

A 1200N would be "How to make a wicked tight u-turn" (and look pretty bad ass doing it).

Unfortunately they don't make green anymore....

You guys should go see what the 1125 can do, they have produced a full fairing for the front end, looks pretty sweet. To bad I can't ride them for more than couple minutes at a time. (my aching back, same on any sportbike) Which is why I like the CR.

And just for the record, I checked again and they will give enough to pay off my bike. I also checked and the 1125R and CR are one of the cheapest bikes to insure. The SV650 was the only thing cheaper, checked today with GEICO.

What color are you gonna get? I advise red to highlight your eyes.

Are insurance companies still charging more for red? Damn aggressive drivers ruining a good color

GEICO doesn't care what color the vehicles are. My car is red too. And yes I would get Red when I upgrade. That red in my eyes show through the helmet too?
