You call that a motorcycle!

So we've all heard the term "2 wheels 1 love" and we all have our opinion on what is considered a motorcycle. I'm not looking to split hairs about Sport bike Vs. dirt bike vs. cruiser; I looking to start a discussion about those unique/weird looking vehicles that cagers wouldn't consider an automobile but riders might not consider a motor cycle.
Today, I was looking for a sport bike stand on craigslist and came across this ad: (not posting a link because the ad will eventually go away)
1989 Gold Wing - $5150 (Kuna)
39,063 miles. Been in a shop all its life. Patented convertible that can be removed in five minutes. Patented kick stand self leveling.

So I am interested to hear everybody's thought, and if you have pictures lets see them.

Imagine passing a triple trailer between here and mountain home. You would go para-sailing!

You wouldn't have to bring your own folding canopy chair anywhere. Sorry, those pics made me laugh out loud, literally. But, I would still ride it! I know nothing about Goldwings, except that you can drink coffee and stay warm while riding one in the winter.

The price is right Legally insaine

As for the para-sailing comment, IDK that thing has to weigh almost as much as some of the cars I have owned. Hell it's got more accessories

My son thinks it would be cool to merge a cam-am spyder type with a harley tricycle and end up with a 4 wheeled motorcycle. but I see two fundamental problems 1)legality and 2)driving/riding experience.
1) Most states say a motorcycle has 3 wheels or less so that puts this type of vehicle in the automobile category, which the DOT requires things like wipers, seat belts, airbags... etc, etc, etc.
2) One of the reasons I love motorcycling is the open air experience and the feeling you get when you lean into the corners. This is one of the reason's I don't really like riding 4 wheelers out in the dirt. 2x many wheel driving over rough surfaces. I have ridden 3 wheeled vehicles and really don't like the sensation of NOT being able to lean into the corner, and the fear of the inside wheel(s) coming off the ground. If I wanted a car sized vehicle to drive that let me experience nature I would buy a jeep/convertible sports car. I just don't see the appeal of 3 wheeled vehicles. I can relate to the older riders that love motorcycling but cant handle a motorcycle any more wanting to continue riding, but my opinion is the "wide" motorcycles are harder to maneuver than a 2 wheeled equivalents. although my opinion may change when I get older.

Looks like a small car that can tip over or catch a breeze and kill you.

I Ride: Lets leave it at that.

I've seen that bike around town. The rider has to lean off the side while riding and at stoplights since its impossible to see over the bars. I kinda laughed and thought to myself "they say my bike's uncomfortable??"
