I Ride: Kinda

To fiber or not to fiber?

That is the question, So I got the sides and lower fairings for my R1 because I wanted something different than everyone else I also wanted it because it looks cool and thought it would get some positive attention. Well I still like it but unless you see the light reflecting off of it they just look like black fairings. I have the bug again and I am considering getting the tail and maybe the tank fairing or the front fairing. I don't really want to go to overboard with it because I like the contrast with the Blue. Any thoughts?

Also I found a nice looking blue zx-14 that I'm thinking about, tempting tempting. My only concern is that Bill only lives a few blocks away from me and I'm not sure there is enough room on the streets for us to park at the same time. HAHAHA.

I Ride: '04 zx6r / '97 KX 250

I think the tail would be cool... Doing the tank and or the front could be overkill.

I Ride: kawasaki ZX-14, Suzuki Eiger, Yamaha Bruin, and a Artic Cat 250.

There is plenty of room in kuna. Get some tires so you can ride.

The tail would look good, but then I also like the look of your bike the way it is.

Historically, the problemo I've had with carbon fiber bodywork is that it oxidizes in sunlight. You can clear coat it, which helps, but not completely. Also, when you wreck it, make sure you keep your receipts for the adjuster.

I Ride: None now, 08 Mustang GT

Don't forget that each piece will add about 5 horsepower.

My only problem with doing the tail is that I have the cf cans and I think it might be to much. I like the tank half, I think maybe I'll keep it simple and just do that i know eventually I will be rocking full cf fairings lol I'm addicted. Plus the HP gain has been amazing lol.
