Knee is coming along nicely. It will be a while yet before I can actually go on a ride. It's still a little tough to get my left foot on the peg. My knee brace gets in the way. I can't wait to ride it though. It was owned by a little old dude who traded it in on a Can-Am Spyder.

Congrats man. Glad to see you back on two wheels after much hesitation from the last go round'. Glad to see your spirits are up and you're ready (almost) to ride.

Thats a great bike, my buddy owned one. It is extremely similar in ergos, power, and weight to my 900ss Ducati. You will love it. And yes, feel free to use my account at Big Twin.

Rode around town on the bike today. Had to take off my knee brace to get my left foot on the peg, still some swelling in my knee. Love the bike, smooth, corners nicely, etc. I can't wait to ride in the mountains next year. I need lose a little weight. My mother-in-law is living with us and making me fatter than usual and my leathers are too tight!

I believe it! Saw the bike last week at Moto Tech. Looks like it was in great shape. The tires are either new or he never leaned it over. Must have been three inches of chicken strips on each side.
That tank bag would bug the heck out of me. It's a great idea, but the fact that it sits to one side would really mess with my OCD. Gotta hand it to BMW though. Off setting the fuel filler so you get max fuel is a great idea.
Congrats on the new bike!

Loving it so far. Ordered the footpeg lowering brackets today. My knee doesn't like being bent that far any more. So I gotta make a little compromise in cornering clearance.

That shouldn't make that much difference, did that to my bike when I got it too. The lower pegs make it much more comfortable.
