i would probably say 8-12 horses roughly but if dyno tuned to squeeze out the power i would say more like up to 14-16, maybe less depending on atitude temp and what not

Full exhaust and air filter with properly tuned map will give a little bit, but I don't think it will be to noticeable unless you are really aggressive in your riding. You feel a bigger change out of gearing IMO.

Just one bottle added to the tank is good for at least 30+ HP.

Without a tune?? You just spent a lot of money for hardly any gain. Get it tuned to make it worth spending the money on those parts. Not to mention to ensure you're running safe A/F ratios. IMHO

Yep Yep you gotta get it dyno'd and tuned. I would go to someone reputable that knows what they are doing. I have a full system termi, BMC filter, and power commander with a custom tune and I'm pushing 176hp to the wheel. Good luck

I never really imagined that a GSXR1000 needed any more power. Do you find yourself often screwing the throttle all the way to the stops and thinking: "This pig needs more horsepower!"?

I was in Korea for a year and England for 4... as for having more power.. it can't hurt. I did have an opertunity to bump the bike up to 210hp but I figured that was a bit exessive

Thanks for your service and stay safe boss

I've been riding for almost ten years now., and owned a stock 2007 gsxr 1000 for a couple of years. Trust me.... You do not need any more power. You certainly don't need any more top speed for the streets so if you absolutely need more excitement out of that bike then save yourself some money and just gear it slightly.. If you don't believe me check out my profile picture; 2nd gear power wheelies at 100+, bone stock...

Agree with everything here. I put an exhaust, air filter, and pc3 on, and the gearing was the most felt power mod I did.

Also I have only topped my bike out a couple times, and both were on extremely long straight roads, out in the middle of nowhere, with no cross roads or anyone else on the road, so I doubt your bike needs to go any faster. It all starts to feel the same above 160 anyways

You haven't gone over 160 on a GSXR Scott, the suzy speedo says it but they lie especially in a wet dream.

You caught me

But on a serious note, I have a corrected speedo. And 160 was only like fifth gear depending on which setup I was running.

That comment was sarcasm. I have been well over 160mpg (but only in a safe enviornment where I would not endanger others or be breaking laws) They have yet to put out a GSXR like the 05/06. Pure beastly bliss

BTW, I highly recommend the bazazz set up over the power commander. 1 unit to run all 8 injectors sounds way better than 2, plus a separate box for any other add ons. Also the BMC filter works better with the GSXRs than the K&N

You can tune every thing through the stock ecu. they also make a data loger to auto tune the stock ecu. you still need some kind of wideband on the bike to get a 5v signal to the stock ecu though. The stock narrow band sensor will not work worth a crap. I don't recomend it.
Either pay some one to do it, or prepare to spend some time learning how to do it. The quick and easy route is a bazzaz with auto tune. I have installed several of them on other peoples bikes. I use the second map on a relay to add fuel for a dry nitrous kit only when the nitrous is being used.

Every thing on my busa is ran and controlled by the stock ecu. fuel, timing, air shifter, nitrous, etc.. etc.. All through the stock ecu. Only thing on my bike is a dynojet wideband commander to data log a/f ratio and send a 5v signal to the stock ecu. I have another data loger that has a auto tune function that plugs into the stock ecu.
I have a biger fuel pump that goes right in the stock pump houseing. With stock every thing else for the fuel system I have 380hp worth of fuel available.

It has ran 158mph motor only and 176mph on nitrous in the 1/4 mile. Hopeing to improve on that by a good margine before the year is over. Hopeing to break 160mph NA at sea level, and 180mph on nitrous here at firebird. Bike is all apart right now. Hope to have it all back together before the end of the year.

They did an article this year in cycleworld magazine on the 05/06, for their worlds coolest bike thing. Said best fuel injection out to date, and best hp:weight ratio so far. I rode the 2012, and was actually really disappointed in it.
