my bike was stolen and chopped

dudes this sucks,
my 2006 ninja 250 was stolen on the 24rd off of orchard. The worst part is one day later on Saturday morning I personally found just the frame on the side of the road. Every single bolt was gone! I found just the frame one block from where it was stolen on the sidewalk. Kinda disheartening since all the police would have had to do is patrol the neighborhood to find the frame. I didn't have the chance to look for it until Saturday and I found it in literally 1 minute of looking. I hope the police catch these guys because right now I feel like they have blown me off! I let someone borrow it because their truck broke down so my homeowners insurance won't cover it and I had no other type of insurance on it. I still owe money on it too
It was all black, muzzy full exhaust systems, brand new bridgestone battleax tires(which the shop will tell you won't fit on this bike), the windshield was cracked on the lower right side, the front wrap around faring was also cracked on the upper right side, the exhaust had also melted the bottom of the main fairing. if you see any of these parts be suspicious and give me a call or text. 208-794-5907. Lock up your bikes guys looks like some pros are stealing bikes if they strip em this fast(less than 24 hours).

I Ride: low and slow

sorry to hear that, sounds to me like some one either had a frame to swap all your parts on to or need a motor for a go-cart or sumthin. if you found it that quick I'd be looking around where u live. Its obviously someone who know's there way around a wrench.

^^^ He's right. You Probably will see your bike a lot now. If you find remnants you should be able to track the serial numbers. BUT don't make your self crazy over it. Give your self a time frame to search for it in or you'll drive your self to rage. I have been robbed plenty , I know.

Did you look on ebay?

;(

That's how they do it, frame has numbers so it's no good. You'll find one engine case somewhere also as it has numbers. They sell parts to recyclers or on ebay, craigs list. It's a huge business, sad.
years ago I had a liter bike on my front doorstep, steering lockes, two disc locks. My neighbor came home late on night and found two guys dragging it down the street with both tires skidding. Thank God they put the kick stand down before they split after he chased them off.
Too bad, always good to insure bikes, they are an easy target.
