Fair weather riders...

What do you do during the winter? I have a feeling I'm going to slowly go insane not being able to ride.

I'm not even sure what I did before I got my bike.

I think once I get used to the idea of not riding I'll get back into PC gaming.

I "think" that's what I was doing last fall/winter.

If it's dry, why can't you go ride? Yeah, Bogus or the Lowman Loop would be out of the question but just around the metro area to keep your skills sharp is realistic. Just wear some thermals.

You can always do a track day down south I guess.

For me it's snowmobiling, and if I can't do that I work with my horses. Either gets me out of the house.

True that, Bill.

Opportunities are not as plentiful as summertime, but not riding is NOT an option for me.
Winter just means more time to work on the bikes, clean, polish, tune, and getting creative as to where to ride.

If the roads are dry and it's 40+ degrees......wave from your cage as I ride by!

Trials riding! Great place to ride near Celebration park and it is not quite as cold there as in the valley. There is a hard core group that rides almost every weekend, year round. I will ride every weekend unless it is raining or snowing.....still a fair weather rider. It is a great workout and more fun than I expected. It will also improve your off-road/trail riding skills. Not so sure about road riding effects, if any. Come out on Sunday and check it out. You can even take my bike for a put.

I bet it would help with balance and slow speed maneuvering. Like when you need to turn around in the middle of the street after drag racing.
<--how Conrad drag races

Damn! I sold my dirt bike last year! I was getting bored going out by myself. I never found a riding partner and Im sure you all know how much more fun it is and safer with a riding bro! I went down hard a couple years ago doing 104 on my XR650R flyin down a sand wash out in the Owyhees! Baja style! That sucked with no one around! Only reason I know my speed is cuz I had a Trailtech speedo that would keep track of top speed etc.! Good Times, lol!
