The Cops Have A big Say in vehichal and bike laws... I know plenty that ride but they base there decisions on if they think that people in vehichals here in idaho would be able to handle a bike doing this, and if they feel its safe... And with that bikers are still frowned apon in most areas of idaho... hell i dont trust most drivers out there when i am in a damn car let alone a bike... Just some info to put out |

And we all start filtering to the front at lights, and moving through stopped traffic. If you act like a jerk, the cops give you a ticket. If you be reasonable--you're OK. | |

hole cop said I lane split when all I did was change lanes, then change lanes again to get around this HS female driver that made me pull a stoppie prior to the lane change because of her RANDOM complete stop at an intersection.

Yea I can understand your position... another thing they look at is to see if bikers are wearing there gear... I dont know what laws are in other states but idaho does not have crap for wearing gear.. thus adding to the fact that if people want to wear shorts a ballcap with a muscle t and sandles while riding cops are going to say no to a bike driving inbetween two vehichals... Hope this makes sense..

dont get me wrong I have ed out before not often but cruising around town running errands going in and out of places. Having to gear up and down after 5 mins of riding gets old quick. I ultimately think it has to do with the way you ride and of course the obvious your prior record as to if they issue a ticket or not. While other times I feel that some cops are young, eager and on a power trip. Regardless of wether you had a legitimate reason for changing lanes or lane splitting even if for your safety, some cops are just prejudice towards bikers because one bad apple can ruin the whole barrel.

Well My girlfriends dad was the head dude when it came to bike cops and he just retired... So I can find things out for everyone, or if people want to get something changed he would be the one to go through
