Hwy 21 accident last night?

Just curious, but does anyone know what happened on 21 last night about 5:30 PM about half way to Idaho City?

Looked like a bike in the creek--there were several Harley's on the side of the road. The sheriff looked to be cuffing someone and we passed the ambulance a moment later.

Whatever happened, it hasn't hit the statesman or anywhere else I can see.

Nope,...But another rider went down on the Lowman to Garden Valley stretch. Red BMW twin Mid 80's or so from the looks of it. that was today at around 1pm or so.

I got the from his riding crew so I hope he is OK. Ground ambulance took him away.

Was there a ground ambulance? Life Flight took off just as we stopped. But man that Beemer was wadded up on the rocks.

That Beemer looked nasty, was really glad to see the from his riding buddy. Hopefully there'll be more on that, I wonder what happened. Hopefully he's got a speedy recovery.

Tried to get some footage of the bike as we rode by. It was pretty wadded up.

That BMW was wadded up. Gave me the creepies as we went by. Bad mojo.

Best wishes to the rider.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that didn't like that wreck. I've seen big wrecks but the beemer was just laying the wrong way or something.

Re: Hwy 21 accident last night?

could be, don't those old BMW's have exposed carbs? I know the tank separated from the bike and was laying 10-15 feet off to the side. But then, any bike would have had it's carbs/fuel injection exposed in that crash. I cringe thinking about what it would have to felt like watching the big rock wall getting closer and closer.

It was a domestic situation between a tweeker couple. I rode through south bound 21 right as they were getting out of theire pick up truck and didn't have time to stop and deal with stupid crap because I had to be somewhere to get my kids.

The group of bikes you saw on the side of the road were friends of mine coming back from Idaho City and stopped to render assistance. The tweeker guy was beating the crap out of his tweeker girl friend when they rode by.

One of the women riding in our group is an Ada County Sheriff so she called the authorities which were obviously there by the time you rode by. Tha ambulance was for tweeker girl because the guy was beatin on her pretty good and she was all covered with tweeker pox from what I hear.

As soon as my friends rode up on them the tweeker dude cooled his jets but the mouthy tweeker batch almost got her azs kicked by one of our gals.

So it was the happy ending, no bikes in the creek and both of the tweekers went to jail because they weren't smart enough to toss theire drugs before the cops got there. The cops also got info from all the witnesses.

Thanks for clearing that up. I wasn't one of the folks that was there so I didn't know if this was that incident or not. Didn't know you had an account here. Now I do and I'll have to stop talking crap about you.

Re: Hwy 21 accident last night?

A friend of mine was helping direct traffic and clear the landing zone for life-flight for the crash on the BMW. He was told by on of the riders with the guy that crashed that the front end of the bike appeared to break or the front tire came off and he slammed into the side of the mountain. Both arms broken and maybe other broken bones. He wasn't sure about internal injuries though.

Yes because it was an attempt to get the thread locked. That is meaningful.

Hey Lite--not sure why you can't explain with a straight face.

There's no need for your to be embarassed--I'm sure there are least two or three others that have not heard it used--just like I'm sure that are lots of expressions us "older folks" used that you wouldn't know either.

Don't make any unwarranted assumptions just because some of us are still struggling with things like "LOL" and "tweaky," ok?

No man, I've just seen so many people around that are all sucked up. face picked and toothless. that when these guys said tweaker biotch. that I have a definite picture in my head and it's funny. cause these tweakers don't know that they look all jacked up. I was afraid that my definition of the tweaker would go way beyond what some people would appreciate, 90 % of tweakers need to be put out of our misery.
