Sept 9 - "Man taken to hospital after wiping out on his motorcycle"

Unfortunately, we've had another motorcycle crash this evening. The Idaho Statesman has reported that a man was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle crash this evening. The Statesman wasn't nearly as eloquent with their wording however. See below for the actual article title and text copied directly from their website. The story may be updated later so I felt it best to copy the whole text so that everyone can see how wonderfully professional the article is.

Quote:
- Idaho Statesman

A man has been taken to a local hospital after apparently wiping out on his motorcycle on Bannock and 12th streets in the North End on Tuesday.

No one else was injured, and the roads are open.

hey, at least the forgot to add that "alcohol is not thought to be a factor" seems they think all people on bikes are drunkards

Wow, that is what was going on. That was right there where I work. I noticed the emergency response people as I was riding off from work this afternoon about 4:15. Hope he/she is ok. Most of the people that ride bikes that work in the old Boise Cascade building park on the sidewalk in the shade of the buildings overhang, I wonder if it was someone leaving there over the curb or something.

Yeah, I saw that dude laying down in the street. Didn't want to gawk, so I didn't lurk around long. When I walked away he was sitting up.

Those of us parking there at that intersection at Boise Cascade know what a bitch it is to get out of there. We have to ride off the sidewalk, looking 4 ways to avoid being smooshed. My guess is that rider works there in our building and was exiting when something "spooked" him.

Just a thought.

If it is so hard and dangerous to get out of that spot I think I'd be parking somewhere else.
