new helmet

so finally decided to plunk down some cash for a new helmet. my first one was an impulsive ebay purchase. it was a THH brand. decent helmet, but really didn't care much for it. found a website that does comparisons of 70+ helmets, so did some research and finally narrowed it down to a new hjc cl-15dragon in blue. showed up yesterday from helmetcity in cali(highly recommended, 2 day shiptime and free shipping). I am amazed at the difference from one to the other. this one is much lighter, and way quieter than my old one. not real sold on the front of it, as it lets a little too much cold air in, and will probably start wearing a facemask much sooner this year, but overall, am very happy with the purchase. Helmet got good reviews for weight, noise reduction and comfort, and price was right...

next on the list: riding pants and boots..

I also recommend helmet city. I purchased a couple helmets from them and I was very happy.

Oh man...this is just tragic! I have the same lid!

OH....and I have it in red too.....Red one is brand new, used for 2 months is an XS - totally for sale, but not many people have a giant brain with small cranium like I do *snort* so I haven't been trying to get rid of it actively....BUT...if you have a chickie that rides with you - you'd sure be a cute matching set!

Red / Blue - this is what happens when you fall in love with a lid and switch bikes....you HAVE to accessorize! Too bad they didn't have matching earrings.

GUILTY! Yuppers.... You aren't the first to trip to my *snorts*

But it just doesn't have the same affect as <insert sarcasm here> The *snorting* has the same affect and - let's face it... YOU TOO have snorted with laughter....what is it called...I believe a chortle

How much fun is that…*chortle?*

Naw..it’s just not the same.

Not to have you re-Snort, but how much are you looking to get for the XS?

Re: new helmet

I wouldn't ever buy a red helmet and wear on a blue bike. funny that blue is the only color bike I have ever owned..
and don't have a lady that rides so strike out on 2...
ebay it and it'll sell. so far, I really like the helmet..
