Crash Honda race I-84

Does anyone know who was riding the bike?

http://blogs.ktvb.com/breaking/2008/...ty-kill-1.html

A rollover crash in Canyon County killed one person overnight.

Idaho State Police responded to I-84, near Robinson Road, just before two a.m. Saturday.

ISP tells Newschannel 7 that a Honda Civic and a Honda motorcycle were racing, when the Honda Civic rear-ended a Ford F250, causing the Honda to roll.

The driver was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

ISP says the victim was not wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident.

The name of the victim is not being released at this time.

This accident is still under investigation.

Re: Crash Honda race I-84

I do believe the driver of the Civic died, not the rider. Who tries to race a bike in a car? It is sad that they are dead, but what a stupid move. Take it to the track.

Wow I was trying to find this article on ktvb to show a friend & found this post. So to set the story straight & ISP learned the facts the next day, the bikie was not a honda it was a Ninja ZX6R, mine to be exact. I thought I was off the hook but a friend who's a meridian cop found out & said I had to turn myself in so ISP came to my house, I told them my whole story, they actually tried to get me to change my story to make myslef look guilty but they knew I was telling the truth, so 1 year after it happened I was off the hook.
The honda came outa nowhere nearly 100mph, passed me as I was cruising 5 over the posted speed, slammed into the back of the truck, swerved into the left lane in front of me slamming into the concrete barrier, his rear bumper missing my front tire by inches after I slammed on my brake to avoid getting hit, going so fast he actually bouncing off the wall & drifted sideways past the truck, then in front of the truck & off the highway rolling over several times on a chain link fence, scared to death of almost getting hit & at first wondering if the honda was going to get back on the road feeling like I imagined it rolling over I took off & raced home.
Witnesses say we were racing because any cars behind us were too far back to actually see what happened. A honda just passed a bike, they gotta be racing, right?! Lol, anyway that's what happened, there was no race, just a bike cruising home & a honda car driving too fast causing himself to wreck.

I was lucky, my guardian angel was watching my back, had anotrher honda, a crx this time, just last month try to race me around 1am headed home on the freeway, kept tailgating me so I left him in the dust well over twice the posted speed, only to get away from his dangerous driving. Unfortunately he caught up to me & tailgated me a few blockes from my neighborhood, fortunately while trying to speed away from him an unmarked cop flipped around & pulled him over. Thank you!
