Preventive Parking?

More than once now Ive been in the SubyDoo and Ive had a bike (both harley and sportbike) pull up behind me at a stoplight and park directly in the center about 4 inches from my bumper. And dont wink at me cuz that doesnt make you smarter! Dumbass.

Where are you going to go if miss minivan decides she cant stop??

Try to stop to one side of the car in front of you so you have an escape route and I leave my bike in gear until the person behind me stops completely.

Bike sandwiches FTL.

Just something to think about before you motor around town.

Good thing I didnt , I might have "accidently" dropped my car into reverse and knocked you over. oopsy!
Then you would get a ticket for following to closely and have to find someone to repaint the nekkid ladies on your "hog"

Re: Preventive Parking?

Tish - this is a VERY helpful tip for riders to consider (and hopefully remember and make a habit of).

Its pretty convenient that we're riding small vehicles that can squeeze through tight spots but its certainly not handy when drivers don't see us or just decided that our bikes would look better crammed into the back of the car in front of us.
