I Ride: 99 gsxr 750 | marsing and the wifey
well i got a new used crf450 so me , my wife and a buddy decided to go ride the sand washs out past marsing. my wife stepped up to a 125 after a few years on an 80 but this 125 i got for her was tuned up a bit . after we piped it and threw a v force reed set up in it, the motor was pulled and shipped to millinium tech who put a 136 big bore kit in it and did a little custom head ,cylinder and power valve "adjusting" ($1100 in motor work). any who we were going up a sand wash at a good clip with my wife out front and just as she went to grab 5th she caught a large rock sticking out of the sand with her back wheel wich in turn caused the worst ass end swap i have ever seen, after about 4 or 5 swaps the bike high sided and flipped side over side about 5-6 full flips down the sand wash. my wife ended up with a right broken hand, left sholder seperation, bruised left rib cage, bruised liver, lacerated kidney, and lacerated splene. so not such a good weekend and iam pretty sure iam going to have a smokin fast 03 yz for sale soon .

she came home today after a lovely 2 night 3 day stay at st als shes gettin thru it with a little help from me and a sh#t ton of help from mr.norco.lol just sucks because shes come so far on her riding sence she started riding this bike and after that whole deal she has pretty much decided to get out of it completely, but i would rather her not ride at all than to be scared every time she went to get on the damn thing, all that is going to do is insure that it will happen agian because she already has it in her mind that its going to. tryin to talk her in to crf 150rb . not goin over so far.

Sorry to hear about her injuries. That always sucks when we hurt ourselves doing the things we love. I can understand her fear. Eventually, she may overcome it once her injuries are healed. I just hope that she has no complications related to those injuries.

Sorry to hear about that, she is in our prayers for a speedy recovery. As for the fear, I am lucky that I had people to push me to get back out there. A year later and it still messes with my mind, but I just remember that I do it because I enjoy it. Feel free to holler if you need anything, only live down the road as well.
