I Ride: 2006 ST1300A-02'Falco | Lowman Loop Report
Rode the full loop clockwise this morning with a major surprise.Lowman to IC was loaded with cinders, some ice and the usual frost heaves on the straight just north of Edna Creek.IC to Boise was pretty clear but still slippery in spots. The surprise was Banks to Lowman. On the whole length there was a grand total of 4 rocks in the road and the sand was almost nonexistent.Even where you start to drop down to Pine Flat was clear.Did see deer, turkeys and elk though.

Man, you must be an early riser!! Rode to I.C. and back with Grumbler yesterday and found that the road was in great shape to Idaho City, but beyond that, don't know, didn't go. Heard from the owner at Trudy's that two riders dumped their bikes up near More's Creek Summit earlier in the week because of the sand on the road....but, as usual, there's no real explanation of talent, or lack thereof, in those kind of stories. But it does kinda sound like what you found this morning. It was a good time to get out and work the twisties, though!! C'mon summer!!!!!! |

I left Kuna at 7:30 and was back at 11:30.Took the ST as it is wired for my heated gear and I know it better than the Falco.Ate some breakfast when I got home and then took the Falco out.Sure like the hit at 7k that bike produces.
