The first GSXR or the first CBR. Pick the one you like the looks of best or if you've ridden both pick the one you feel most comfortable on. Neither one is better or worse than the other. They are both amazing bikes.

The white gixxer is what I race - great bike. Too bad they pulled the stickers off, as they gave the bike some needed color.

The blue/white gixxer is over priced for this economy.

Another white gixxer, 8K is what you can get that bike new for... way over priced.

CBRs - not my style but a good bike. Take up Loopy's offer and see if you like it or not.

I have the OEM bodywork for the 08 sitting in my garage. Also you can get some custom stickers made for next to nothing. It might just be those photos, but I don't recall the silver on the side panels being that dark.

I like both the blue and the orange CBRs.

As far as being far away, weigh the cost of gas to go there/check it out, and transport it back + cost of bike vs the local choice. Might also see if they could meet you somewhere in the middle (not likely but worth suggesting - if they are motivated to sell it, you might be surprised).

In any case (as several have suggested) take Loopy up on his offer, and also test ride the GSXR, see which fits you better for comfort, riding position, etc. Comfort/handling trumps looks (just barely ).

all of them are over priced. Keep an eye out and you can get an 06 for about 4k.

cbr vs gsxr?? Take your pick.
Any of the new bikes are so close to the same the only difference you'll ever notice is your own personal preference in how it feels comfort wise & which you like the look of the best.

One might feel a little better in the corners to you or one might pull harder from a dead stop or a roll on. It's only going to be minor differences. Really you couldn't say one is better than the the other.

That's my 2 cents.

If you want a 600RR I know a guy with an 03 that would probably sell for real cheap if cash was waived at him. Nice bike too. As for what you have posted, the very first Gixxer is the best deal imo. If you are interested in the one in Portland my sister lives there so I could hook you up with a free place to crash for the night.

I would have to say that you should try one out. I rode a newer CBR600RR and found that I was cramped up on it compared to the 91 CBR. Just saying that if you find the bike uncomfortable and can't change rearsets, seat, etc to make it better, it is a bad buy. BTW, I like the blue CBR.
Then again, maybe I don't have enough seat time on an RR. Loopy, can I borrow yours for a couple of days?

Once you go Pitbull, you'll never go back.

A buddy has one similar to that, only the rear wheel fell off so it makes putting the bike up and down a PITA. Other than that not too bad.

Or it means they are too poor for anything aftermarket and don't have the money to maintain it properly either.
