90% mental, 10% physical all the bikes are so close to the same. Think about it.
One year Suzuki wants the most peak HP & Honda wants the best breaks, then the next year Yamaha wants the strongest mid-range while Suzuki upgrades their forks, then Kawi wants someone to notice them so they add 37cc's or 6% to the motor just to keep up. It's not like Honda is able to get 3 more HP and Yamaha is stumped on how it's possible to achieve that, or Suzuki can't figure out how to make a bike corner as well as another bike... they all focus on different area's on different years.

But you guys already knew this.

Oh and who cares about AMA... AMHUH? AMWHAT? American Mooootorrr-When do the real races start-Association?

The first part is true, but its funny as the trend right now is decreasing HP with the focus on usable HP.

The real races started last month at Phillip Island. GP starts soon but those are nothing close to production bikes.

As for AMA, you should watch that 2 races were good. Jordan finally got a win, and even without Mladin or Spies the zukis still dominated at Daytona. Which brings another point, if BMW is supposed to have the best bike with the most HP, where were they at? Oh yeah almost dead last, on a track that favors high HP.

I've never believed HP made a bike "faster" on a track. I've past enough 1L's to know that & I've seem the lap times of 600cc vs 1L. Not to mention MotoGP times are faster on the 800cc bikes with less HP than the old 1L.

As for AMA races... I was just giving you a hard time. I don't follow any racing. The only real racing is the race I'm in.
