I Ride: 2007 GSXR600 blu/blk

Busted in WA

I thought this story was going to be about someone from Boiseriders..except there was no wheelie.

Wash. trooper clocks motorcycle at 152 mph on two-lane highway

http://www.kboi2.com/news/91519704.html

Anyone know what speed radar guns top out at?

$411 fine and sent on his way, that's all? You've got to be kidding me.

I don't know what the top speed is, but damn $411 ticket and a lecture from the cop. I'm surprised the cop caught him after taking 3 readings with his radar

I Ride: on sidewalks if needed.

"Eighty percent of fatal motorcycle collisions are now the fault of the rider," said State Patrol Chief John R. Batiste. "Half of fatal collisions don't even involve a second vehicle."

I'd like to know where he gets these number from.

As for him speeding, hey everyones gotta open their bike up at least once in the springtime!!

i think that's funny, he got caught only doing 152 on a zx-14. If it were me, I would have taken the gamble of informing Johnny Law that "I was actually behaving officer, considering that 152 is not even approaching the 190 I know this bike could do. Aren't you happy that I'm showing some discretion?" :-)

Only if by a 67% chance that a blonde person wearing a Journey t-shirt is within 100 feet of the incident. So my psychic told me.

That's what I was thinking. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt, he was probably going faster than 152 and it was the radar gun that couldn't read any higher.
