First MSF class of the year!

Man, I have already had two calls about "when is the first bike course?"

I still have ice in my back yard!!!!

I think it is going to be a good year, and I can already see that there is A LOT of interest in bike courses.

If anyone on here is waiting for an MSF course on MHAFB, we will have a schedual out before the end of Feb.

See you all on the road (or track)

Re: First MSF class of the year!

April 2/3 will be the first class of the year. And it is a BRC so if any of you Air Force types have a new bike and need the class, sign up at wing saftey soon.

I hope its going to be a busy year!!

Re: First MSF class of the year!

I am gonna assume that you teach the MSF course there. I will PCSning in next month. I am coming from PACAF and was wondering if you could tell me how often you have to renew your MSF card there? If so I will need to sign up for a EXP course ASAP so I can ride when my bike gets in.

Re: First MSF class of the year!

Yes I am one of the few MSF guys here. If you have a current MSF card, BRC or ERC, you are good. There is no "Every three years" thing anymore.
BUT if you have a different bike or it has been a while, we encourage you to come out and do an ERC with us.

Oh and did I mention it is free AND durring duty time?
You can email me if you have any questions. TSgt Hendrick at harold.hendrick@mountainhome.af.mil

There are some cool people on here and some good riding too; you should enjoy your time here!!

Re: First MSF class of the year!

The 6th or 10th of April, I dont remember which. My schedual is at work and I am not.
BUT I can do them when ever I am not teaching (my normal job on base), so I am trying to do one next week if the weather is ok.
A nice young couple is going on leave in April, so I am trying to get them in before then.

DOD only

I can only give the BRC/ERC courses to Department Of Defense employes here, since Idaho is not an MSF state.

Sorry for any confusion. Your Idaho Star program is great too, almost identical.
So if you are not DOD, get in one of those when you can!!

Do you have to be active DOD? What about service connected vets and thier spouses through the VA?
