Another Islander on 2 wheels!

Hey Everyone! My name is Kapono and i just bought an 07 GSXR 750. The mods ive done have only been cosmetically but iv only had the bike for a little over a month and have just pushed it over 1500miles. I love riding in big or small groups as long as we are having fun! Anyone have a prefrence on different types of pipes to add to da bike? Good to meet all of you i hope to see you guys around! PEACE

Kapono

I don't have any practical advice regarding pipes for your bike but I would like to suggest that a good set of frame sliders be your next mod. The way people are going down lately, they're something you can't afford to not buy.

Re: Another Islander on 2 wheels!

Thank you for the warm welcome guys! Thanks for the good advice Hozhead I know my buddy Craig just went donw the other day coming back from Idaho City. That was one of my first mods that i bought though thanks to the help of my buddies on bikes. I bought some 4" frame sliders on ebay and they work great! ANyone know about the HR1 pipe? or any Two Brothers pipes?

Re: Another Islander on 2 wheels!

I saw a new 07 GSXR and put the two bros exhuast on this weekend.. I also check it out at the local bike shop here.. they look like really good quality and sound nice. They also drop alot of weight compared to the stock pipe.. I would recommend two bros exhuast for about any bike!

Re: Another Islander on 2 wheels!

Hey there bud remember me it's jaime so you decided to come play with the big boys huh? you do know that we don't ride like squids right? So that means that you have to find a helmet big enough to fit your huge head So good luck with that, any way there's a couple of us going to McCall Sat. if you want to go and do some real riding....get back at me and we'll talk...

You know, getting riders together to actually enjoy our bikes, help each other out and to encourage the use of proper riding gear were the main reasons I started this site just over a year ago.
You guys frickin' rock!

Nice and subtle G-man...but sometimes that is what it takes.

Welcome Kapono! And yes, in case you haven't noticed, we do stress proper gear.

If you're accusing someone of being stupid, it is usually a good idea to spell-check your post. Including the name of the country you are from, isn't it spelled Samoa?

And did I miss something? When did I get voted the designated a$$hole? As far as my "pocket bike" is concerned, those don't look like track plastics on yours, so I say that's a really fast grocery getter you got there. If I need a last minute beer before 2:00 AM I'll give you a ring. Believe it or not, I do know what a Blackbird is. My question to you is what are you compensating for? And as this little pi$$ing match started over a helmet and being safe, I think it's a little irresponsible to tell the guy that's only been riding 2 months he needs a bigger bike.

oh, and BTW...

It's time to chill a bit on this one. I'm not yet sure how it escalated to this state but the thread is now locked for public safety.
