I Ride: Bass Boat :)

bladed101's wife

I just got a 250 ninja, it's still a work in progress! This is my first bike, and I'm freaking excited to learn how to ride! I just got it all painted, but still in the process of getting it all fixed up and put back together! The sh*tty thing though, is that it sounds like a lawn mower!

But does it have the cool ding-ding bell? And does the hog get 70mpg? If so I'll trade you straight across for the mutt wagon

My wife started on one also

My dear wife had one last year. A Blue 2006. She sold it at the end of the season and is currently looking at the new FZ6R. I hope you like the Ninjetta 250. She had a good time with hers for a while.

The 250 is a good bike, it will teach you a lot. It would be fun to have one to play around on.

Yeah mine's not quite that new! But it looks a lot better now with the paint job! I'm excited! I can't wait to learn how to ride! It'll be nice actually being in the front seat, rather then riding on the back!

Need a bike course?

I am one of the MSF guys on base if you are military and need a BRC this spring......

I think I have seen your husband ride by. I live on 18th North street in Mountain Home. Me and my sons play basketball on our street, and I see an all white sport bike ride by every now and then. Looks just like his in his avatar block.

You guys anywhere near?

The 11th is an ERC

If she knows how to ride, she is welcome to the ERC on the 11th. I have that one.
But in May, the BRC's are on the 4th-5th and 28th-29th.

See you around.

Welcome! Sounds like a great bike. There is another thread about underrated bikes that encompassed overrated bikes, The little Ninja's are probably the most correctly rated bikes out there as being suitable to a wide range of riders. Have fun!

Yeah I hope it will be a good bike for me! And hopefully I'll be a beginner pro, if there's such a thing!

I had a two-to-one exhaust one mine and it didn't sound like a lawn mower any more. More like a big bore thumper dirtbike.

I know where there is a nice red 06 very well maintained 500 for $3500, even has a BRN sticker on it allready LOL

Yeah a dirt bike sounds better then a lawn mower any day! We'll see how fast I get the 250 mastered! Hopefully in the middle of the summer I'll be getting something a bit on the faster side!
