Welcome R6Boise! Yes we have a good mix of different bikes on here, it is just the Suzuki riders that are usually the most vocal even if they don't know what they are talking about...
Speaking of Stubby, although the white RSV4 looks nice, it still looks way better in red and black.
Bring your bike as soon as possible.

Now now Karl, this Suzuki rider only speaks when she really thinks she knows what she's talking about

R6Boise - I graduated from BSU last December and live right next to campus, so if you need anything, feel free to ask

Haha! It's nice to get respect somewhere in my life! I've been seriously wanting to step down to a Gixxer 750 though to stop wrestling my 1000 through the twisties, but while I have to agree that the new RSV4 is gorgeous, the stats on the BMW S1000RR have really caught my eye (resist.resist.but.must.have.more.POWER!).....I don't even care that the headlights are fugly..... I've heard that Big Twin isn't looking to get any of the RSV4? AND my ex thrashed my gixxer pretty good, so I'm not sure what hp she's pushing right now. At a minimum, I need to fix the clutch and pull some money out of my for a new chain and sprocket. She's got some pretty new shoes though

Well don't let it threaten your manhood

Trust me - YOU DON'T NEED AN R1

Didja catch the part about how I'd like to step down to a 750? I'm also 33 years old compared to your 18, and have been riding sportbikes for 7 years. Before that, I was tearing around in sportscars. I don't know how long you've been riding motorized 2-wheelers, or if your riding preference is cornering, speeding in the straights, stunting, squidding or attention-whoring, but the 600 is much more maneuverable and user-friendly for all of them. I prefer to ride the twisties and my 1000 is a handicap over a 600. Not to mention that on a 1000, your insurance would be through the roof.

Just 'cause I want to feel the power between my legs doesn't mean you need to.

Yes, you may call me "mom" now.

to the Zoo!

Arwen said it best, before too long you will be acting all sorts of crazy. Oh, and don't try to compare to her either, when there is someone I don't like, i tell them to follow Arwen through the twisties and try to keep up. LMAO

She said she doesn't like wrestling it through corners, there is price to pay to have that power.

750 has stole my heart for a good balance of both. At our age, insurance on a liter bike aint cheap either.

W.D. will teach you all sorts of tricks! How's SD treating you Don??

There are a few women in here that ride 1000s and rride them good too. some of the best riders I have seen are female, so don't sweat your man card. We already had one youngster try to ride above his ability this year. Enjoy your 600, besides the bigger the bike the slower you are anywhere but the straights, and the more outrageous the insurance. Trust me im over 25 ( when insurance supposedly goes down) and my insurance had a big difference between my zx9, gsxr 750 and my zx6. And thats just a few examples. needless to say the zx9 only had liability as it was over twice what full coverage on my 600 was at the time

Welcome to Boise and the forum. Definitely bring your bike. Once Spring is here the riding is nice. Especially, once the roads clear off. That's when we all put on our leathers, etc. Hang out at gas stations and make revving noises!

Well, I'm not sure who you are or why it's any of your business, but I won't be legally married as soon as he finally signs the papers. And yes, I live with a guy I've known for 4 years who doesn't lie to me or cheat on me; he spends time with me and the kids and I've never been happier.

So, who are you? Joined up in August '09, right when my divorce papers were filed?

And it's not very nice highjacking R6Boise's thread for your own personal vendetta.

Arwen, although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting or riding with you, I've always heard you were pretty cool person. As for Trigger?? I don't think he/she even owns a bike, much less rides. So don't let them get to you, just live and ride your life, and let the haters...well hate

haha, where did that come from? what has arwen ever done to you? steve, kelly, flashpoint or who ever you are there is nothing that was said or done that required such a response. I mean if you have something personal against someone talk to them don't drag it into the forum.

O by the way i get it:
kbc helmet, hmmm
frank thomas jacket, hmmm
####h, flash
trigger, flashpoint trigger

if you are kelly you are a kettle calling a pot black
if you are steve/flashpoint you are a coward, and hypocrite

Yet even though its a fit of rage and possibly even justifiable I believe it is still considered a crime to push someones bike over. Besides the bike never did anything. Why do people always target the bikes, I mean come on they're helpless they didn't do it
