I am -1F +2R on my 08 R6. Trust me even when I was over 200lbs It still could launch my ass and keep pulling hard.

i dont care for 1/4mile....im one of those guys that thinks 1/4 mile is lame. if your planning on being a dragster then maybe a larger rear would be better suited but if thats not going to be your PRIMARY use then i would stay away from anything more than -1+2 just my opinion.... as for the power....well ###t the obvious jump in power is right at 13K since thats were the flutes drop. but there is still a decent power pull from 6k but there is still more pull all the way down to the bottom of the gears.....NO its no V-twin but its a significant upgrade from the stock gearing....and you still have loads of top end..... if your still unsure....try just dropping the countershaft sprocket by one tooth....see how you like it.........want more...then start going up in the rear.... I will have the bike on the 1/4 track but thats not going to be the primary use! My dream would be to race at MMP but dont think I will have the money this year.... have to wait and see So with that being said it will mostly be street riding, up to Idaho City, Lowman, ect ect.... So it sounds like the setup im going to like! Thanks again for the info True that, if all I wanted was a 1/4 mile bike I would have got something bigger than a 600... I just think its fun to run it every once and a while. Last edited by Juice; 02-03-2010 at 12:03 PM.
