My new ride

OK I'm so excited here's pics of my new ride I just picked up tonight. It's a 1999 Yamaha R6 with a 2001 600cc motor in it with about 12,000 miles. Best part is I stayed really close to my budget

and just a warning DO NOT LEAVE YOUR 2 bikes in the garage over the winter by themselves when you open the garage in spring you end up with this

I need a new battery before I can ride anywhere other than the neighborhood but it's on order and should be here at the end of the week

Yep it's got a few 01 parts on it. Thanks I will keep that in mind I have a few parts with small cracks that might be easier to replace than have Scooterholic fix.

I Ride: The Busted 1 & The wrecked one.

Just a thought, Batteries plus on Cole has sealed batteries for a good price they were the cheapest place I could find one for my GSXR and it came with a 1 yr warranty. Probably in stock also.

Thanks I will keep that in mind. The one on order is a free replacement so I don't have to worry about it except I have to wait for it to get here

Thats a negative GhostRider...I bought one from them, and 8 months later it went bad. Took it back and they basically said nope it was my fault it went bad. I put it on a battery tender in the bike for the winter. They said I should have taken it out of the bike. So I bought an Interstate battery, 3year free replacement and prorated for another two after that. and their costomer service was MUCH better that batteryplus.

As soon as I sell my wifes FZ, I may have to have you hook me up with one of these near complete bikes. I'd like something I can ride around town but if I go to the track and yard sale it I won't give too much of a shyt about.
