I Ride: on sidewalks if needed.

So let me get this straight...he wants you to shell out an additional 3g's on top of your bike Your bike is worth 3000-3500 and he wants 4000 for the R1. How does that math even compute?? Sounds like another azzhat who thinks since his bike was 9 grand brand new and is still worth that today...NOT.

so aside from the looks do you think a different bike is going to make you a better rider? SVs dont run the front cylinder out of oil, the pickup is not in the oil while they are in a wheelie, its the bottom end that suffers the most from wheelies

no i know it wont make me a better rider, i stalk svrider.com pretty frequently and ive read thread after thread about how bad it is to wheelie and stoppie and all that on the engine. there was one post in specific with pictures where he threw something (i cant remember) but it tore through his whole engine basically, holes and broken pieces everywhere. do i think a couple wheelies did this? no. but id rather not kill a good engine.

if im totally just wrong about it being bad to stunt on them then that would be nice .

no, you are right about them being no good for stunting. get a wrecked up junker to stunt on cuz it will end up that way in the end

i would get a junker if i had the cash but ive only got about 6 or 7 hundred to add to my bike, maybe ill just save up another grand and keep the sv and get another bike to stunt. decisions suck.

Haha! I only said that because Dave gets all fired up anytime anyone says something bad about SVs. I just wanted to get him going!

When you say a bike to "stunt", do you mean actually stunt or just ride wheelies?
