Group Photo Shoot?

Hey Guys, So the title sais it all. I wouldn't mind doing a photo shoot of the brn group. I know car communities have a thing where they would all meat up at a certain location, and then they would take a picture of an owner next to his car. So I was thinking we can do the same? I got myself a new toy to play with so I would love to try it out. I know I am not as professional as Zed and stuff, but I have free time so if you guys would be interested, we can do it. Let me know.

Also, I would love to go out and shoot shots of you guys out on the dirt, or some bmx events. I just want to build a photo portfolio and just play with it and expand my skill base.

I think this is a great idea. I will be back from vacation September 1st. I guess the big questions would be:

1. Who's interested?
2. Is everyones bike in running condition?
3. When is everyone available?

i think this is a great idea but get a good spot nice backdrop hells canyon our freak alley .something along that line butr id be open to anything

Well this is great. Okay so first thing is first. Date would be September 4th. That way its a Saturday and people hopefully won't have to work. Its not set in stone so we can change it around. This will also give me time to practice and find a better spot. I know of one area on Meridian road, has an interesting background and the shadows would be nice and soft.

What do you guys think of this spot?

By the way I am always up for suggestions, Zed if you browse through this thread maybe you can suggest something man? Also, any tips you can throw my way I would greatly appreciate as well.

Hells Canyon is on the Idaho, Oregon border and has some great photo locations.

I'm game for this whenever. And serg if you need any practice hit me up I need some better pics of both of my bikes. Since all the photos I have were taken from cell phones.

Edit: Although the Hells Canyon area is gorgeous I vote for a location in town just for coordination and ease of gathering people in one spot.

We are getting close to the end of season for BMX but if you would like you may come out the the track on wed.. we start racing at 7pm. gate practice from 6 to 7pm.

I can't do Saturday's unless it's in the evening due to work. I will be off on Sunday's starting the 1st of September but I'm also busy until after September 11th.

I'm in! I am sure my hubby will let me know what is decided. As long as I don't have school I will be there! I guess saturdays work best for me. If it is during the week in the evening it has to be mon, wed, or friday.

Well to shoot a more accurate date I am thinking September 4th. I want to play around a little more with what I have to work with and play a bit more with the software as well. Here is a new shot of poltart, I took it today as well, this one has more editing involved. I went out with my wife today and took some random photos over at Albertsons Park. That helped me get a more understanding of how I can set things up to take photos for us.

I think this place is a pretty cool looking place. Great background and nothing too intense so that the focus still remains on the bike.

Yeap, its actually E BOWER ST. If you fallow it down it ends into an industrial like place. They have a nice big garage which would be a great background or other things if you like what you see we can always reposition. Then they have trains with graffiti on them as well. And some other pretty sweet things.
