Speaking of which, the whole way I found out about this forum was that last year, somebody put a little business card under my windscreen while I was down at Boise State... In fact I still have it! haha BUT- I was just wondering where this came from, I would like to get my hands on a couple if its cool, I see lots of bikes when Im down there all the time, and who knows how many recruits I could grab!

Re: Shout out to Any one from Twin Falls!!

Yah, I've been working on getting people here. I tell them... but nothing comes of it. So I do need some stickers or something. I have this one friend who is just ignorant and won't visit the sight... so I'll plaster stickers on his windshield... maybe he will then. But I'm working on it too.

*really dunno why i posted. Could have stood up and sounded off to Eli.. not like we work together or something. lol

Re: Shout out to Any one from Twin Falls!!

So I was readin this thread, and though, damn I need to go by me a bike so I can post something here since I?m from Twin...
Ok that?s a lie...
I bought the bike and then was referred here by Eli.
Suzuki GSX-R 600.
It's my first bike, I?ve never even been on a dirt bike so it?s been fun.
I was scared as hell of the thing at first though. I?m much more comfortable on it now and rather than being scared I am enjoying myself and looking forward to learning how to ride better.
I?ve had it just over a week and I?m at 480 miles. Can?t wait for that 500 mile break in to kick over. Not that I need to use the extra 4000 RPM for anything...

Anyway, just my shout out.

PS: 130mph = FUN, makes my ass pucker though...

130MPH, with only 500 miles of riding time = 6ft under.

Re: Shout out to Any one from Twin Falls!!

I'm not gonna bag on you for being excited and wanting to check the speed, Nate. I do have to agree with Proeve that a lot of extra time in the saddle is needed before hitting those speeds though. Its much better when you get a little experience because then 130 is still fun but doesn't pucker your butt at all. For that matter, neither will 150!

Re: Shout out to Any one from Twin Falls!!

As a testomony to being a new rider this goes out to the noobs not to the forum but to bikes in general.
I ride a CBR 1000RR and it was my first bike and when I got it I was a little nervous but I kept my head on right and rode my ride. Not anyone elses mine where I felt comfortable. And so far this year I feel allot more confedent on my bike and have a larger comfort zone so basicaly what I am saying is dont push it have fun and keep it upright.
