That was a fun ride Conrad. I honestly am starting to wonder about the people who bash that route. If there was sand I didn't see it, we went at a reasonable pace it has all the twisties you could want in a 16 mile jaunt. Next time he puts up a ride there you should go it's worth it especially if you live in ada county.

I totally agree, right now the road is in as good a shape as I've ever seen. I rode up this morning too but had to start around 9 ish. Only saw two bikes on the way up as I was decending. My only complaints about that road is all the Armstrong wannabees that ride 3-4 wide and the granola mobiles that don't know what a slow vehicle turnout is for. For the record, I go way slow...

![]() Also, Both my bikes have aftermarket (loud) horns on them. I ride mountain bike, too, and I always make it a point to be as far to the right as is safe on the pavement when I am on my bicycle. It's amazing how many people I bike ride with that put having a conversation while riding ahead of their own safety on the streets and roads. The Idaho law clearly states that bicyclists must ride in single file on public roadways, and I really don't have much patience when it comes to the rolling roadblocks. At least when I get to hear some other bicyclists whining about the motorcyclists/drivers on Bogus not respecting the 4 abreast bicycle parade I get to go into my "natural selection" rant. Educational, fun, AND entertaining!!! But then I am kinda easy to amuse! Last edited by Bluesrider1; 09-02-2012 at 04:19 PM.

Glad some people met to ride up with you. I drove by about 10:30 hauling my dirt bike up to do some riding and you were walking around the parking lot by yourself. Saw two bikes headed down on my way up. I agree about the bicyclists. Most of them were good about pulling over to the side but I swear some of them were wanting me to run them off the road. |
