I'm in! Will this route go through the deep gravel?? If so I will need to bring a change of underwear as the last time I messed myself.

We don't want that....watching you change that is
We'll route to avoid it on the way up and there is a way around it on the way back.
I'm liking the clouds today since there's no trees up at this butte.

I Ride: SUZ DR 650

Sounds fun; I'll be there! I've wanted to do this trip for awhile.

BTW: Check out the DS trip in today's (9/6) Idaho Outdoors section of the Idaho Statesman. Great story and photos of a week long adventure ride through Idaho back-country.

I Ride: The Armageddon, Orange Crush

That article is about my friends Mike and Dave Heimer. Mike sold me the Paso about 8 years ago, then bought it back from me. They did a pretty similar trip that I just took, but poor Mike broke his foot. Dave railed Dagget Creek with me on his 990 KTM. Fun group of yahoos right there.

Great ride!

Perfect riding weather. The overcast sky and setting sun made for some incredible scenery. I only wish I could take better pictures to show how beautiful it really was.
