I'm in...this sounds fun.

Have you guys tried the little cafe in Lowman up hwy 21 a bit on the left? I don't remember the name but last time we ate there it was really good. One of the best roadside cafes we've ever found. Just a thought.

Yes...I'm still going and it is tomorrow the 11th. A little cooler weather will be a bonus.
The cafe up 21 is the Sourdough Cafe...I have had breakfast there a few times. Trudy's in IC has the best pie though....

I'm not to familiar with 2 stroke street bikes, do you have to bring a bottle of oil and pour it in the tank at fill up or does it have a separate reservoir that auto pre-mixes for you?

I think he is talking about the haven just before the hot springs.

Yes...its oil injected so that is not a problem for me. My one issue is I only run non ethanol fuel, but at 50ish mpg I can get about 250 miles between fill ups which is reasonably respectable.

trlrdr650:

I put 100 + miles on the VX and nothing fell off that I noticed, so I'll be riding that.
So bring your tools

One thing for sure I won't be cleaning/oiling a chain tonight...or tomorrow

Yup just checked. Kinda cold.

So I thought I would hit up Krispy Kreme Doughnuts on Fairview/Eagle and leave from there.

More than welcome to join me. Figure I will be there just about 8:30. Leave just before 9 to head to beacon light.

Probably the best LL ride I've been on yet, great group. That wind was wicked coming out of IC through Lucky Peak, anyone else notice that? Thanks for posting the pictures Conrad.
