Bogus anyone???

Edit: Alright so i used this thread once to see if people wanted to run up bogus, and i got to thinking why not use it more than once? This could be the like "official anyone wanna run up bogus" thread. Instead of having a bunch of random bogus threads everyone could just use this one? I thought it was a pretty good idea

Not much, enjoying summer and working mainly. yeah, this is place keeps everything more local. I don't post up in here much anymore, but there are some good peeps. SMJ has been pretty dead, but got a new project, debating whether or not to put my build thread on here like in the past, or throwing it up on SMJ. Only because Tyler, yourself, and I are the only 3 people on this forum that ride tards.

What he really misses Rick is my radar detector and cleaning his seat off after my turn to lead.

I was just reading about those. How's the power?

The trunk space on that thing is impressive.

The power is more than enough to go to jail, although soft down low, in typical Honda fashion. For a soft tune 700 twin, it was pretty decent. A new can and air filter would do wonders. It is whisper quite (more so than my BMW blender), I put the first miles on it, taking it easy with the new tires and engine that needs a break in. I wasn't a fan of the bar bend, and yes, the trunk is amazing! The suspenders were stiffer than I expected, but really nice for the street. I'd be very temped to slap on some Ohlins and some TKC80s, and throw it down some dirt fire roads. With some optional hard bags and a taller screen, this bike would make a great tour mount. As it is, its a capable HyperMotard, at half the cost of a Duc.

Also, the low center of gravity is unlike any other bike Ive ridden since a Trail90. I suspect Honda will sell a million of these. Its a great looking bike too IMO.

Dang I love that ride. A few weeks ago there was quite a bit of sand near the BNF sign, looks like it's pretty much gone.

Just rode Bogus today. There was maybe 3, 6 inch patches of sand
There was a small rock slide up at the top to keep an eye for.

There's sand, but it's right on the curb.

Like I said, small patches, and they were on the way down.
Shouldn't affect riding, unless you gun it right on top of them. LOL

There was a little sand, rocks, pine needles on just a few corners. It was all easily seen ahead with time to slow down or swerve. I might make another run tomorrow evening. Most people are off the mountain by Sunday evening.
